Assumption Fundraising Meeting – Wednesday, January 21, at 6:30 p.m. in Assumption Church in regard to the Fish Fry. Everyone is welcome to come.
Assumption Parishioners - Our Annual Fish Fry and Basket Raffle are just around the corner! Because we received so many positive comments about the baskets sponsored by individuals in our community, we’d like to try it again this year. We are asking parish families to consider donating a themed basket or even just contributing an item or two. If you’d prefer to make a cash donation instead of building your own basket, we’d be glad to put one together for you. Your generosity and creativity are greatly appreciated! Pro-Life Events – 1) Eucharistic Procession January 20 - Join the 2015 March for Life pilgrims and process from St Peter's Church (gather at 10:45 a.m.) to the Cathedral of St Joseph in a Eucharistic Procession for the Travelers’ Mass at Noon. 2) Midwest March for Life – Jan. 31 in Jefferson City. Prayers 8:00 a.m. on Capitol steps, 10:00 a.m. march from Governor’s Mansion to Capitol. Details on poster in back of MPH church or visit www.midwestmarchforlife.com.
