Each year the diocese has a fundraiser for our seminarians called Night Of Vocation Awareness, or NOVA - this year on Friday Feb. 7 at the Capital Plaza. Someone has donated a table of ten, plus myself for this fun evening with a great meal. We need people to fill up this table. If you would like to help us out and join our delegation, please let me know.
“We need to get our fundraising committee together to decide the dates for the Seafood Buffets, who will do what, or even if we will have them. I know we can count on many people to come and work and make these a success, but we need organizers and planners also. Please come to a meeting on Thursday, at 7 pm in the rectory.
“Midwest March for Life will be next Saturday, Jan 25, beginning at the Governor’s Mansion at 10 am and marching to the Capitol for a rally. Please consider participating and, of course, pray for its success.”...Fr. Dave
