**Note Changes in Weekday Mass Schedule for the Coming Week – 1) Mass on Wednesday will be at 8:00 a.m. 2) Mass for Thanksgiving Day will be offered on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at MPH (no Mass at Assumption on Thursday).
“We are well into the CSA appeal for the diocese. Both parishes have made a great start. I am grateful to all who took care of this responsibility in a timely manner. If you haven’t had a chance to make your pledge yet, please consider doing it soon.
“This week, as a nation, we pause to give thanks to God for all His blessings He has showered on us, both as a nation and as individuals. This is, of course, a basic stance of a Christian – we recognize that we owe all to God and must give him thanks in return. Let us do that intentionally with joy in our hearts.
“Remember there is a community Thanksgiving ‘event’(Christmas Concert) at the UCC Church in Chamois on Sunday evening, and at Assumption Church in Morrison on Wednesday evening. CSA - The next two weekends, Nov. 28/29 and Dec. 5/6, we will provide pledge envelopes to make a donation or pledge for the Catholic Stewardship Appeal. This appeal supports the ministries of the Diocese in providing service to our parish as well as the greater Diocesan community.
