Text Box: “Gaudete! Rejoice! That is the theme for this Sunday, so close is our redeemer. Are we truly rejoicing people? Our joy is based on the knowledge of Christ’s presence – the fact of our salvation. So no matter what is happening in our life, deep down we have a real Joy. And that Joy then gives meaning to all the activities around us. We join in knowing that Christ has come, that He is with us, and that we will be with Him some day. We do indeed rejoice!
“We have the traditional Tour of Churches in Chamois this Sunday. Since I was able, with some great help, to put some simple decorations up in your rectory, I’ll also have it open for you to stop in and see what we’ve done. So if you haven’t been inside your rectory lately, stop by this Sunday or any Sunday afternoon in this Christmas season for a little visit.
     “God bless.”...Fr. Dave

Stewardship Quote - From the loneliness of his prison cell John the Baptist asks of Jesus: "Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?" The weeks before Christmas offer much to be joyous about, celebrating with family and friends, the glitter of seasonal decorations, the excitement of gift giving and receiving. But in our midst there are the lonely and neglected, the poor, the hospitalized, the wayward, the shut-ins. There are those seemingly without hope. To whom should they look? Discipleship in the Lord includes being good stewards of others. Are there those in our family, our neighborhood, our community who we can reach out to this season to show them a sign of Christ's presence in their midst?

Vocation Blurb - Jesus acts as our Simon to help us carry our daily crosses. So, consider the priesthood because Simon says.  Visit
