“Already one week of Advent is completed! How are we preparing to welcome Christ once again? This week the e-mails from BestAdventEver.com have helped me to be a little mindful of what this season is all about. I liked the quote from St. Francis: Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly, you are doing the impossible.
“This week is the Holy Day of the Immaculate Conception. It is also the beginning of the Holy Year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis. So let’s begin thinking about how we might celebrate this holy year and make God’s Mercy more active, and real in our lives and in the lives of those who are most in need of God’s Mercy.
