++Ash Wednesday Mass Schedule – Masses will be offered on Ash Wed. (Feb. 10) at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption and 7:00 p.m. at MPH.  A 6:00 a.m. Mass is being offered at Westphalia for commuters.

“Now is definitely the time to begin thinking about Lent. Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. While this is not a Holy Day of Obligation, it is a great and popular way to begin this season of Penance. Let us mark ourselves with ashes as we begin our penances; let us take up our prayer books and spend more time with the Lord; let us make our sacrifices with joy, and share with the poor; that we might experience the Merciful Love of our God fully in our lives.
“We are getting fewer and fewer people for the Wednesday night Mass and adoration, so we will probably move it to Wednesday morning at 9 am, in hopes of making it more convenient for people, especially during Lent. Please send me directly any comments or suggestions.”…Fr. Dave
