“We have already completed one week of Lent! Have we taken the time this week for prayer and sacrifice? Or has it been just another week? Jesus has called us to repent and believe. It would certainly be worthwhile for every one of us to take the time to reflect on those aspects of my life where I need to repent. What are those sins in my life from which I need to turn away? That is the call of this Holy Season. Let’s be sure to not pass up this grace-filled opportunity.
“This Friday is already our first Seafood Buffet! I am always edified by the way so many people come together and work so hard to make this happen. As your pastor, I am very grateful for that. I trust everyone will do what they can to again help out and make this another great success. Let’s pray for some spring weather.”…Fr. Dave
