Text Box: CHRIST IS RISEN! HE IS TRULY RISEN! What a joy to once again proclaim these words here in another Easter season. I pray that the Risen Lord will bless each one of you throughout this Holy Season. I am grateful for all the people who make our Holy Week services so beautiful and meaningful. A special thanks to Dale for the music, the Morrison Choir, Sherry for decorating and all who donated the beautiful Easter lilies.
“Please plan on coming to our parish gatherings this week. As we started last December, these quarterly parish gatherings will be serving as our parish council to look ahead at what we can and should be doing in the next 3 months. For instance, I will be proposing a Corpus Christi procession for the feast of Corpus Christi on June 6th. So if you have any interest in seeing this tradition revived this year, please be there. Other agenda items are included elsewhere in today’s bulletin. Plus bring your ideas.
“Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 2, for a Mass of Thanksgiving with Bishop Gaydos blessing the renovations of St. Mary’s Church. We will make it a celebration not only of those who helped make this latest renovation possible, but of the gift of this church building and all the people who received sacraments here, especially you our present parishioners. We will end with a May Crowning procession around the church. There will not be a reception in the hall.”...Fr. Dave

Divine Mercy Sunday is this Sunday, April 11.  The extraordinary grace of this feast is available to those who have received the sacrament of penance during Lent and who receive Holy Communion on the feast of Divine Mercy.  This extraordinary grace will restore baptismal innocence and consists of remission of all temporal punishments for committed sins.
