++Weekend Mass Location Change – Beginning NEXT weekend (April 22/23), the Saturday 6:00 p.m. Mass will be at Assumption, and the Sunday 8:00 a.m. Mass will be at MPH.  This will be in effect until October.

“As you are probably aware, we, as a parish in the diocese, have been asked to put into action our Diocesan Pastoral Plan over the last several years.   I would like you to join me this Thursday evening, April 20 at 7 pm in MPH’s hall for a conversation about

  1.  How our parish has been successful in implementing the Pastoral Plan and
  2. What goals we would like to set for ourselves in moving further along in the Plan.

We will have a facilitator lead us through this process. During the first part of the process we will discuss the topics of “Faith”, “Family” and “Reaching Out” and how we as a diocese define them in our Pastoral Plan.  Once we review this information, we will be asked to discern how in the past five years our parish has helped people grow in faith; how we have supported families and how we have reached out beyond our active parishioners.   This will be a good time for us to realize these realities and celebrate them.  Then, we will look at how we want to advance our parish in the areas of “faith,” “family” and “reaching out.”  We will also be called upon to discern how the people who work at the Pastoral Center/Chancery/Diocesan Offices can help us achieve our goals of advancing our parish in these three areas.   When we have finished, our report will be given to the pastoral center so they can begin to discern how to best meet our goals.
“I pray that you and your family will receive many blessings from the Risen Lord this Easter and throughout the Season.”…Fr. Dave
