Morrison Volunteer Fire Dept. Chicken Dinner – Sunday, April 27, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Morrison Community Center. Adults/$10, ages 6-12/$5, under 5/free. Pie/cake donations greatly appreciated.

Catholic Home Missions Collection – Many dioceses right here in the U.S. do not have enough priests and trained lay ministers to serve their parishes. The Catholic Home Missions collection taking place this weekend supports these dioceses by funding essential ministries, including seminary education and lay ministry. Please be generous and share your resources to strengthen the Church at home. If you forgot your donation this weekend, just drop in the collection basket next weekend.
SB 680 Would Allow Former Drug Users To Receive Food Stamps if they met certain requirements. SB 680 has passed the Senate and is now awaiting House committee assignment by Speaker Tim Jones. MO Catholic Conference asks that you contact House Speaker Tim Jones (573-751-056, email Tim.Jones@house.mo.gov) immediately and ask him to move this bill forward in the House.
