Text Box: “May is the month of Mary. We began this month with a May Crowning and rosary outside before our statue of Mary. Both our parishes are dedicated to our Blessed Mother and so this should be a special month for us. Mary is our heavenly mother, given to us by Jesus himself from the cross. She is the one who stood by her son through his entire passion. She is the Queen of Heaven. We should try and make this a special month for Our Lady. I think a little old-fashioned devotion is called for. Let’s try and give her a little extra devotion this month. Are we praying the rosary at home? Do we at least say a couple of Hail Marys each day? How about making the effort to get here 20 minutes before Mass to join with those praying the rosary. Do we have a May altar at home? The month is already half gone, let’s be sure to honor our heavenly mother this month.
“Congratulations to our graduate Ethan. We pray that God will bless and lead you all your life.
“Enjoy these nice summer days.”...Fr. Dave
