Open House – Mr. & Mrs. Bradley Birk will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on June 10 at the Community Center at Chamois, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Flood Relief Collection - The powerful storm system that brought torrential rainfall & historic flooding to MO recently impacted numerous households throughout our diocese. In response, a special collection will be taken up next weekend (June 10-11) to provide emergency & longer-term assistance to those affected throughout our diocese. Special envelopes are available in back of church or just mark “Flood Relief” on an envelope and drop in the collection basket. All funds collected will be sent to Catholic Charities of Central & Northern MO to help with relief efforts in our diocese.

Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ/Father’s Day Celebrations - Everyone is invited to join in a Corpus Christi procession after 6:00 p.m. Mass at Assumption on Saturday, June 17, and after 8:00 a.m. Mass at MPH on Sunday, June 18. MPH parishioners are also invited to celebrate Father’s Day on June 18 by gathering in the hall for donuts in honor of all fathers after the procession. (Those not able to join in the procession are invited to proceed to the hall to await the return of those in the procession.)
Mass at Starkenburg Shrine – Tuesday, June 13, at noon. Sacrament of Reconciliation 11:15 a.m., Rosary 11:40 a.m., lunch available following Mass.
Collection Amounts Forwarded – Catholic Home Missions collection amounts of $260 (MPH) and $210 (AS) have been forwarded to the diocese, along with Catholic Relief and Development collection amounts of $325 (MPH) and $285 (AS). God bless you for your generosity.
Job Opening - Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri is hiring a Disaster Case Manager to work with individuals and families impacted by the catastrophic flooding of April/May 2017. Travel required, with services primarily offered in Gasconade, Cole, Cooper, Maries, and Osage counties in central Missouri.
