Text Box:“We had the open parish meeting for MPH this week. They were happy to hear that they had a budget surplus of $1,731 for this fiscal year, plus $14,000 still available from a capital improvement grant for continuing repairs on the rectory and replacing the boiler in church IF needed. They also decided to hold open meetings on the third Thursday of Jan., April, July, and Oct. each year. We will work on reactivating our committees, especially through a stewardship of time and talent sign-up Sunday before the October meeting. We presently show a projected budget deficit for next year, and so will have to work hard to make our parish picnic a great success. Please pray for cooler weather, spread the word, invite family and friends, sell raffle tickets, and do all you can to help. I look forward to a great picnic next Sunday.
“The July session of our leadership program is this Friday, so there will be NO Friday morning Mass, as I need to be in Jeff early.
     “Stay cool.”...Fr. Dave

Text Box:Funfest - Most Pure Heart of Mary parishioners, I know you are focusing on your picnic. However, I am hoping you will join the Funfest, July 27, at St. Mary’s hall.  Lois Gerschefske is coming to share with us her rendition of the Sound of Music songs.  She will be encouraging us to sing along with some of the songs. Dessert will be served. Hope to see you there and, please, bring a friend.
