Text Box: “I am most grateful for the appreciation reception last Sunday. The Priesthood has been a great blessing and joy. I have been blessed in my priesthood to have the opportunities to serve the Church in different parts of the world, of which I am extremely grateful. Now to be back home, to be where my family has deep roots, to have been part of renovating St. Mary’s, to have two great parish communities – it’s still a great joy and blessing for me. So thank you all very much. Plus to be included in the Funfest birthday celebration with so many of our people from both parishes - oh what a joy. I appreciate the fine faith and commitment of all of you, our faithful parishioners. God bless you.
“Our parish Picnic is fast approaching. I look forward to being part of it this year. Let’s all work hard to make it a big success. Already you can be inviting family and friends to join us that day, soon there will be raffle tickets to sell, and of course we will be needing many happy hands that day to help with the many activities.
“Enjoy the Fourth of July. Be safe on the roads!”...Fr. Dave
