Assumption Fundraising Meeting – Tuesday, July 14, at 6:30 p.m. in regard to planning for the Fall Dinner. Everyone welcome.
Camp Hope “SonSparks Lab” will be held July 20-24, 2015, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Church. Preschool children through 6th grade will discover God's Plan for You = Jesus or GP4U=J! Registration papers have been mailed. If you know of anyone wanting to attend (grandchildren), contact the parish office for copies. Some items needed for experiments are: 1) 2-liter soda bottles, 2) paper towel & toilet paper tubes, 3) small clear plastic containers with lids, and 4) liquid dishwashing soap bottles with pull tops or flip tops. If you have some to donate, put them in the back of church. Volunteers grade 7-Senior Citizen are welcome!!

Seeking Christ for Our Nation Mass – 1) Tuesday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m. at St. George in Linn. 2) Wednesday, July 8, at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Rich Fountain.
Ask for Clemency – MCC asks you to please contact Governor Jay Nixon (573-751-3222, email at http://governor.mo.gov/get-involved/contact-the-governors-office) and urge him to show mercy to David Zink, who is scheduled for execution on July 14. Let Gov. Nixon know that society can be protected from Mr. Zink by having him spend the rest of his life in prison.
Special Collection Amounts – The special collection for Communication & Education brought in contributions of $183 (MPH) and $273 (Assumption) - these have been forwarded to the diocese. Donations of $108 to the Good Shepherd Center, $81 to the Samaritan Center, and $255.50 to the Hermann Community Food Pantry have been forwarded to those places.
