Text Box: “Again, I am happy to say that we’ve had a good response to our appeal for Handbells. We have commitments for 16 of the first 25 bells. So we will be ordering bells. Please send in your contribution whenever you can. And continue to think about becoming part of our choir, we will be beginning this fall. Also, there are still those 9 bell dedications available – if you can help, we’ll be most appreciative. Check our Parish Website for the latest information.

Also, I have talked with a few men and we are going to try a program for men entitled: This Man is You. Mark Mehmert has agreed to be core team leader with me. We will be gathering a few interested men to serve as core team, and then more information will be going to all our men inviting them to join us for a 13-week program beginning in September. You can also get information and even register on their website.

“It’s vacation time, and I’ve been invited back up to my old parish in Seward, Alaska, for their 100th anniversary. So I’ll be gone from August 9 through 19. Masses will be covered on Saturday and Sunday, but no daily Mass for those two weeks. (Though a communion service will be scheduled on Friday – watch the bulletin.) You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.”...Fr. Dave
