“I want to express my special gratitude to Julie Keilholz, Roxy Wuelling and Joyce Wright for having taught PSR for the past several years, and their willingness to again continue helping our children know and grow in their faith. However, we are left without anyone for the Kindergarten and first grade classes, and will be needing one or two people to help with those grades. If you think you might be able to help, please let me know.
“Congratulations to all our children who return to regular school this week. We pray that you will have a year of growing in knowledge and wisdom.
“This week is the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady into heaven. She is, as always, the first and promise of what we all hope and strive for. Her Assumption shows and promises that we too, someday, will be reunited with our bodies and taken to heaven. Let us strive always to accept this God’s gift to us by our lives of faithfulness and holiness.”…Fr. Dave
Assumption Fundraising Meeting – Tuesday, August 19, at 6:30 p.m. Raffle prizes for Fall Dinner will be organized at this meeting, so be sure to have all raffle prize info turned in.
