Text Box: “This week I have my Leadership class on Tuesday in Jeff, and after that I’ll be taking off for a little 10 day vacation. I trust that the parish can and will carry on without me. I expect to see everyone alive and well when I get back. Fr. Ed Doyle will be with you next weekend for Masses, so please welcome him warmly, and take care of him. Unfortunately there won’t be daily Mass. So continue with your prayers and the daily readings at home. God will come to any heart that is open to Him. I’ll keep you all in my daily prayers and Masses.
“Congratulations to all our students, teachers, and school personnel who began the new school year this week. May God bless your good work.
“It’ll be September when I return (where did the summer go?) and we’ll have a lot to get going on for the coming year – PSR (Can you volunteer to help?), CSA, MPH anniversary, new translations of Mass text, and others. So let’s all be ready to jump in, lend a hand, and do all we need to do to keep our parishes going and growing.
“Congratulations to Michael Rost and Casey Nichols who were married this weekend. May God bless your faithfulness and love with a long and happy life together.”...Fr. Dave

Coffee and Donuts - Most Pure Heart of Mary is continuing to celebrate the year leading up to its 100th anniversary by offering coffee & donuts in the hall after Mass next Sunday, August 28.
