Text Box:   Our PSR program starts this week and we eagerly await seeing all our children again and working with them this year. I remind our parents that we offer this program as a service to you who have the primary responsibility of passing on the faith. I don’t know how many more years we will be able to continue to offer this program given our small numbers and lack of volunteer teachers. Perhaps in the future we will have to provide the material and training for you to home school your children. I ask the PSR parents to come help set up, prepare, and clean your child’s classroom this evening (Sunday Sept. 16) at 7 pm.
I was talking with some parishioners about vacations I would like to take some time, and said I would like to do a Branson Christmas tour. I had an enthusiastic response and was encouraged to organize one. So I’ve looked into it and will be happy to organize the trip IF we get a minimum of 30 people. So talk it up with your friends, neighbors, or family and let me know ASAP if you are interested. I will let you know how many we are getting. We can still get tickets and reservations for NOV. 28, 29 & 30, but it is a very busy time for them and we must decide very soon. Pick up a flyer in the back of church for more details.

Catechetical Sunday – This Sunday we celebrate those who serve our parishes by bringing the Word of God into the hearts of others.  We thank the following people who will be commissioned during this Mass:  Ev Dudenhoeffer (Kindergarten), Roxie Wuelling (grades 1-2), Julie Keilholz (grades 3-5), Teresa Skaggs (grades 6-9), Fr. Dave (grades 10-12).

PSR Classes will begin this Wednesday, September 19.  Kindergarten PSR classes will be held in the evening, meeting at 7:00 p.m., the same time as the other evening classes (meet in the hall).  Grades 10-12 will meet at that time with Fr. Dave in the rectory.
