Text Box: “I’m happy to say that we had 42 people from MPH and 23 from Assumption who signed the time and talent sheets last weekend. Of these, 24 people from St. Mary’s and 15 from Assumption volunteered for one, usually several, of the committees. I am most grateful to each and every one of them, and graciously accept their offer to serve. Some of the committees have meeting times already set, I’ll be sure to get with some people on the others to find a time for the first meeting and let everyone else know. Some people reminded me that not all opportunities for service were listed on those sheets, i.e., Pro-Life, money counters, hall cleaners, etc. Perhaps next year they should be, but they really fall under one of the other committees. They are still important, just don’t need another committee. We still welcome anyone who wasn’t here last week to volunteer, and changes can (and I’m sure will) be made. I’ll post these on our web-sites, and try and keep them up-to-date there. The volunteers for the Liturgy will be turned over to the liturgy committees. God bless you all.
“I’m sorry to say that the leadership program that I’m in, takes me away from leading my parishes, but we will be meeting this week from Tuesday through Thursday. So, unfortunately, there will be no daily Mass those days.”...Fr. Dave

Coffee & Donuts will be served in St. Mary’s hall after the 8:00 a.m. Mass next Sunday, Sept. 25, to continue celebrating the year leading up to St. Mary’s 100th anniversary.  Everyone is welcome.
