**Note Change in Weekday Mass Schedule – The Mass on Wednesday for the coming week will be at 7:15 p.m.  This is the opening Mass for PSR.  Everyone – parents, grandparents, chauffeurs, parishioners – is welcome to attend the celebration.

“Keep Holy the Lord’s Day. How well are we keeping this commandment? Yes, participating in Mass is central to fulfilling this, but are we doing enough? The month of October will soon be upon us, and this is traditionally one of the months dedicated to Our Lady. In Chamois we have in recent times started this month with the Rosary around our statue in front of church. So make a point to come early on Oct. 4. We, of course, need someone to organize this - perhaps someone new would like to volunteer. Assumption, along with MPH, will be reciting the Rosary before Mass each Sunday. I encourage everyone to make it a point to get to church early and participate in the Rosary - just a little something extra to truly make this day Holy.
“Seems that Chamois is organizing a city-wide Rummage Sale on Oct. 17. If you would like to have space here on the yard, (you bring, you take away, you keep the money) let me know. If anyone would like to organize a parish rummage sale in the Hall, (people donate items, we get the money, and dispose of leftovers) please let me know also! Could be a nice little fundraiser, but we need a volunteer!”…Fr. Dave

Fun ‘n Faith Family DaySunday, Sept. 20, at Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, 10:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m. closing prayer. Events all day – come & go as you please.  Free will offering.

Assumption Fall Dinner Clean-Up & Set-Up – Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m.  Extra hands are needed! Water in the basement caused mold and mildew – all the tables and chairs need to be cleaned along with any other items that have mold/mildew.  Your help is greatly appreciated!
