Text Box:   MPH has a maintenance committee meeting scheduled for this Thursday evening. One of the things I learned in my recent leadership course is to not waste people’s time if there are not relevant items on the agenda. So please get your agenda items to me immediately. The only thing so far is that we need to establish a sub-committee to replace our vandalized statue, and finish the pro-life angel shrine. Volunteers welcome – let me know if you want to work on this.
Our PSR program has started for another year. Again I am thankful for the teachers who have volunteered & are working with our children. The high school kids in my class have voiced interest in going on the Pro-Life March in Washington DC in January with the Diocesan group. Final decision will have to be up to the parents if they can miss those three days of school. If we do go, we’ll be looking for sponsors to help pay the kids’ way and chaperones also. Kids please note: we will meet this week.
If you know you want to take part in the Christmas Tour of Branson, or know of anyone – the other churches have been invited – please let me know today.
Looking ahead, I’ll be with the bishop and other priests of the diocese at our yearly Convocation at the Lake from October 1st through the 5th. No daily Mass that week.

Assumption Fall Dinner – Sunday, October 7!  Serving fried chicken dinners with all the trimmings from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Country store also.  Adults/$9, ages 6-12/$4, 5 & under/free.
