“Next week is already October once again. This is one of the traditional months that we dedicate to our Blessed Mother. Assumption will be praying the Rosary before Mass on Saturday, and the following Sundays. MPH will pray the Rosary outside by our statue of the Blessed Mother (weather permitting) on Sunday and before Mass the following Saturdays. This would be a great way to give a little bit extra to keep holy the Lord’s Day and to honor God through His Blessed Mother. Let’s try and come a little early for Mass this month for this time of prayer and preparation for Holy Mass.
“We have people willing to organize a rummage sale as part of the Chamois city-wide Rummage Sale on Oct. 17. See the announcement elsewhere, volunteer, gather your good junk, and let’s make this a success.”…Fr. Dave

MU is Out of the Abortion Business - Thank you, Mizzou, and thank YOU - your calls, letters, and emails to MU officials have made a difference! Mizzou is ending its relationship with abortion doctor Colleen McNicholas. This means Missouri's most important public university will no longer be involved in the abortion business. It also means that, unless McNicholas can obtain privileges or an agreement with some other hospital, the abortion industry will come to an end in Columbia, MO. The MO Catholic Conference is urging citizens to contact MU Chancellor Loftin and the Board of Curators and express appreciation for this courageous decision. Visit www.mocatholic.org to find an alert that includes a pre-composed message that Catholics can send to the Chancellor and the Board of Curators.
